Canada’s senior advisor visits representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi
Senator Frank Bayliss, a former member of the Canadian Parliament and one of the country’s senior government advisors, visited Hujjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Saleh Sibweih, representative of the revered Marja, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Shirazi.
This friendly meeting was held on June 27 at the headquarters of Shirazi World Foundation and lasted for two hours.
Both parties discussed and exchanged opinions on various issues of the Islamic community, especially Canadian Muslims.
Among the main topics of discussion between the parties were the moral issues of students in schools and Muslim teenagers and young people because they will be part of the future of this country.
In this meeting, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi raised some important points.
In the same manner, the Canadian Government advisor promised to bring the issues to the attention of officials of his country, both in the government and in the parliament.
Senator Frank also promised Sheikh Sibweih to arrange a meeting for him to meet and talk with some senior Canadian officials and discuss some issues directly with them.
