Free Muslim Organization releases message on Int’l Day for Countering Hate Speech
On the International Day for Countering Hate Speech — which marked on June 18th — the International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) has called on the international community and the world leaders to be united to address hate speech, which is now rampant worldwide.
In its message released yesterday on this occasion, the Free Muslim said that, “The whole of humanity has suffered for years from this negative phenomenon, which has led to serious repercussions on all the humanitarian levels.”
It added that, “Hate speech, based on ethnic, religious or political differences, has played a massive role to plunge humanity into an abyss of violence and destruction.”
The Organization explained that, “Official and non official parties and organizations with extremist tendencies have used this tool to further deepen the already deteriorating humanitarian circumstances.”
The International Nonviolence Organization concluded its message by calling on political regimes across the world to prioritize humanity and to combat racial discrimination and hate speech.
