Afghanistan: Misbah al-Hussein School provides education to 1300 students in Herat
As the first school in Pashtun Zarghun district of Afghanistan, Misbah Al-Hussein school, affiliated with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, continues its educational activities to cover children of 12 villages with a population of over 14 thousand people.
Located 55 kilometers from Herat province in the west of Afghanistan, Misbah al-Hussein school provides educational services to more than 350 orphans under the sponsorship of Misbah al-Hussein Foundation.
It should be mentioned that the 1500-square-meter premises of this school will be constructed soon with the contribution of benefactors so as to accommodate the education of more than 1300 male and female students in two shifts, morning and evening.
Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation has made it its mission to serve orphans in Iraq and Afghanistan in line with the directives of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi (may Allah prolong his life).
Accordingly, the organization is building schools to upgrade the education level of Afghani students.
It is worth noting that, in recent years, the Foundation provided drinking water to the residents of this region by constructing a water well with a depth of 120 meters and two water tanks with a volume of 60,000 liters.
