A senior ISIS chief was killed by US special operations forces during a helicopter-borne raid in northwest Syria on Monday, a US official has confirmed.
According to the official, he was a “senior ISIS-Syria leader and operational planner” in charge of planning terror attacks in the Middle East and Europe.
It should be mentioned that US troops and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to track down runaway terrorist leaders in the region.
