London’s cultural district lit up in honor of blessed month of Ramadan
For the first time, London’s West End has been illuminated by 30,000 lights, bearing Muslim symbols, to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadan, and Muslims were congratulated for their religious festival.
Sadiq Khan, the Muslim Mayor of Briton’s capital, has organized similar Ramadan-related events for the duration of this holy month, including several Iftar feasts to take place at the Victoria Museum and the Chelsea Club. These occasions mark the first of their kind in the UK.
