Mass grave found in Iraq’s Anbar thought to contain bodies of victims of terrorism

A joint security force in Iraq announced the discovery of a mass grave, west of Anbar, with the bodies are likely to belong to those murdered by ISIS terrorists.

Well-informed security sources said: “The mass grave was found in the district of Hit, west of the Iraqi province of Anbar, and investigations are under way to reveal the identity of the people buried there.”

According to the International Red Cross Committee, Iraq has the largest number of missing persons in the world due to decades of conflict and violence.
