Iraqi forces announce the killing of seven terrorists in the Qara Tiba district, Diyala

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the killing of seven terrorists after a clash with the security forces in the area of al-Khalawi, which is adjacent to Lake Hamrin in Diyala’s Qarat Tiba district.

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the killing of seven terrorists after a clash with the security forces in the area of al-Khalawi, which is adjacent to Lake Hamrin in Diyala’s Qarat Tiba district.

In a statement, the cell said, “A joint force within the Diyala Operations Command managed, according to intelligence information, to trap terrorist elements trying to escape to a hideout, where the Iraqi army air strike bombed and killing seven terrorists.” 

The cell confirmed that the hideout, containing foodstuffs, a motorcycle, gasoline gallons and gas canisters were destroyed.
