The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of five dangerous terrorists in Babylon.
The agency stated, in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, that “based on accurate intelligence information, our army were able to arrest five terrorists in separate areas of Babylon province in separate preemptive operations, who are wanted according to the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-terrorism Law.
It added, “One of the terrorists, known as (Abu Karrar), confessed to participating in several terrorist operations, including the attack with an explosive device on a checkpoint of the Tahrir Police Station, north of Babylon, and the attack led to the injury of a number of officers and the martyrdom of one of them.”
