Yesterday, a delegation from the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in Majunga, Madagascar, met with one of the country’s most prominent journalists and Director of RTN TV channel, Dady.
The delegation presented a copy of Nahj Al-Balagha in the French language to the Christian journalist and explained the personality of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the importance of the book, especially about the Imam’s letters to his opponents.
The journalist expressed his astonishment at this as he thought that the religion of Islam was limited to prayer and fasting only. Dady was surprised at the fact that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) during his reign, used to send letters to opponents, advising them to retreat and rethink their plans as it would lead them to hell.
The head of RTN TV thanked the delegation for their visit and encouraged them to spread the culture of peace around the world.
