Mesbah Al-Hussain Foundation continues sessions on its development project for Arbaeen Pilgrimage
For the second week in a row, the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated to the Shirazi Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala, held a session to discuss its major development project (Vision of Holy Karbala 2030 – 50 million pilgrims in Arbaeen), with the participation of experts and specialists in various fields.
The session, which was held at the headquarters of the Imam Hussein Media Group, witnessed a great interaction from the attendees, who emphasized the importance of realizing such a project, which is in line with the requirements of achieving sustainable development for Iraq for the year (2030).
The director of the Foundation, Abd al-Sahib al-Kishwan, said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “The Foundation held its second session to discuss this project, which looks at early preparation to embrace the increasing numbers of millions of pilgrims during the holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”
He added, “The discussion session was attended by a number of experts, academics, and former government officials, including Engineer Basem Abbas, former Director of Urban Planning, Engineer Mazen Al-Yasiri, former Director of Municipalities, and Engineer Fayez Abu Tahin, former Director of Karbala Electricity.”
He pointed out that “the attendees discussed the importance of the holy Karbala vision project that the Foundation proposes based on the greater vision of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and his emphasis on making the necessary preparations to embrace the pilgrims of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”
