Shirazi-affiliated Office in Beirut provides financial support to 140 Fatimid mourning ceremonies

Through protection from Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance, the Office of the Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, helped establishing one hundred and forty Fatimid mourning ceremonies through offering financial support.

The blessed work activity, based on directions of His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, on the necessity of reviving the Fatimid rituals.

His Eminence recommended that in addition to participating in the Fatimid mourning ceremonies, we should seek to encourage others to establish such ceremonies on the martyrdom of Sayyeda Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

It is noteworthy that the Fatimid mourning ceremonies were held in the State of Lebanon during the Fatimid days, in the capital Beirut, Jabal Amel and Bekaa. The representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi there, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslmeen Sheikh Jalal Maash, supervised the activities.
