Unknown fate of 28 Shia Hazara travelers on the Afghan-Pakistani border

An informed source in Afghanistan said that 28 travelers, mostly from the Shia Hazara tribe, who were planning to travel from Afghanistan to Pakistan through smuggling, have disappeared at the borders of the two countries.

Meanwhile, the source, who asked to remain anonymous, announced on Monday, January 2nd, that the bodies of three of these travelers had been found and taken to the Pakistani city of Quetta.

When the smugglers found out they were Shia and Hazara, they made calls to unknown people, which likely led to their kidnapping and killing.

No further details about this incident have been determined so far, and the Taliban government and the government of Pakistan have not yet commented on this crime.
