Iraqi joint operations confirmed that Iraq made many important achievements in 2022, including the killing of 311 terrorists, 213 killed by air force fire and 98 others in various operations; noting that most of the dead were important ISIS leaders.
Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, spokesman for the Operations Command said in a statement that the security forces also succeeded in reaching geographically difficult areas in 2022. Al-Kafaji expressed his hopes for further support for the army to boost its capabilities in its fight against any possible threat.
