Large crowds of the Shias of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in Syria participated in the mourning ceremony that was held by the Husseiniyah of the Zainabiyah Seminary of the Shirazi Religious Authority, in honor of the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).
An official of the Husseiniyah, in an interview with Shia Waves News Agency, said that “the Fatimid mourning ceremony was attended by a group of Syrian Shias loyal to the Pure Progeny (peace be upon them) and Shia communities residing in the country.”
He added, “The mourning ceremony witnessed a religious lecture, which was delivered by Sheikh Muhammad al-Imami, who touched on aspects of the biography of Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) and her defense of the line of the honorable imamate.”
