Official delegation from Imam Hussain Holy Shrine arrives in Peshawar to offer condolences to families of the Shia mosque victims

An official delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain arrived in the Pakistani city of Peshawar to visit the families of the victims of the terrorist bombing that targeted a Shia mosque, and to participate in offering condolences and support the families of the victims and conveying the condolences of the religious authority.
“The visit came to offer condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist act that targeted a group of worshipers in the Kucha Mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, while they were performing the Friday prayer,” said Fadhil Awaz, head of the delegation.
He added, “Given the importance of the issue, the delegation of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine insisted on reaching the site of the explosion.”
“We presented excerpts from the statement issued by the religious authority regarding this great tragedy,” he added.
He pointed out that “this visit had a great impact on the minds of the city’s residents, and the roads witnessed a large crowd, welcoming and respecting the delegation of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.”
It is noteworthy that a terrorist bombing targeted a Shia mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, killing dozens and wounded many others.
