As soon as the media and networking sites reported about the participation of Chechen fighters in Russia’s military operations against Ukraine, the Muslims of Ukraine were the first to interact with this matter, and the most rejecting it.
This was evident after the Russian and Chechen media reported news and pictures indicating the presence of Chechen fighters within the paratrooper forces that seek to carry out landing operations in the outskirts of the capital, Kyiv, where Islamic centers and associations rushed to close their doors, in anticipation of these fighters resorting to them, seeking food or any other help, and refusing to respond to them, or help them.
It seems that the Ukrainian crisis, which ended in the war, united the Muslims of Ukraine, with their differences, on the principles of belonging to society, support for the army, and the rejection of Russian military action in their country and the Chechen fighters who support it.
