Israel targets southern Damascus with surface-to-surface missiles

The official Syrian news agency, SANA, reported that the Israeli occupation army targeted some points in the vicinity of the town of Zakiya, south of Damascus, with surface-to-surface missiles launched from the occupied Golan.
The agency quoted a military source saying that “at about 11:35 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Israeli enemy carried out a strike with several surface-to-surface missiles on the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of the town of Zakiya, south of Damascus, which led to some material losses.
Israeli and Arab media reported that Israeli planes launched raids on the southern countryside of Damascus.
