The Beirut Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi provides relief to the underprivileged and poor families

The Lebanese people are living through a difficult living crisis due to the economic conditions the country is going through, hence, the office of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the capital, Beirut, hastened to intensify its humanitarian activities to provide relief to needy and poor families.
The Office said in a statement: “The oppressed Lebanese people are experiencing a stifling economic crisis and extremely difficult living conditions, which require concerted efforts to help them and meet their basic living requirements.”
The statement explained that “the Shirazi office in the capital, Beirut, continued to offer the blessings of Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, to the needy and poor families in the country.”
It added that “the recent humanitarian campaign included distributing of foodstuffs to a number of religious science students in Lebanon, to help them in their difficult financial circumstances.”
The statement stressed that “His Eminence repeatedly recommends intensifying humanitarian efforts to include poor and needy families and students of honorable religious sciences.”
