Women demonstrate against the terrorist Taliban in Afghanistan for their rights to education and work
Dozens of Afghan women demonstrated in Kabul, to demand respect for their rights, and an end to the killings perpetrated by the Taliban terrorist movement members against members of the former regime.
About thirty young women gathered near a large mosque in Kabul, chanting “Adalah” before they were stopped.
“I say to the world: I ask the Taliban to stop the killings,” said protester Naira Kohistani. “We want freedom, we want justice,” she added.
Another protester, Laila Bassam, warned that “former military personnel and government employees face a direct threat.”
The call to demonstrate came through social media in order to protest against the “mysterious murders of young men, especially former military personnel in the country.”
The United Nations says that credible information speaks of summary executions or enforced disappearances of more than 100 former police and intelligence officers since the Taliban took power in mid-August.
