Martyred and wounded civilians in two separate explosions west of the Afghan capital


Two separate terrorist bombings in Dasht Barchi area, west of the Afghan capital, Kabul, killed two people and wounded four others, in a repeat of the attacks on the area inhabited by a majority of Shia Muslims.
“An IED exploded while a bus was passing in Dasht Barchi district of the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing two people and wounding three others,” Xinhua news agency quoted Taliban Ministry of Interior spokesman Qari Syed Khosti as saying.
The spokesman added that a woman was wounded in another explosion in the same area, noting that the second explosion was also caused by an explosive device, and no party has claimed responsibility for the two explosions.
A terrorist bombing with an explosive device in the same area led to the martyrdom of 4 people, and the injury of two others on November 17, 2021. Days before this attack, another similar explosion occurred that also killed 4 people, including a journalist, and wounded 7 others.
