Believers celebrate the ninth of Rabi’ al-Awwal, the second Eid al-Ghadir


The Shias of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, celebrated the second Eid al-Ghadir on the ninth of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
Those who love and are loyal to the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, exchange congratulations and blessings on this day, in accordance with the narrations of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
Many cities in Muslim and non-Islamic countries witnessed manifestations of adornment and joy and the distribution of sweets by Shias on the occasion of the second Eid al-Ghadir.
The ninth day of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal is considered the day of bringing joy and happiness into the hearts of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, especially Lady Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her.
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, mentioned in his statements about this auspicious day, that the ninth day of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal is the second Eid al-Ghadir. The two Eids form the basis of Tawali (showing love and following the friends of Allah) and Tabari (disassociation with those who oppose God).
