Malmo hosts mourning procession on Arbaeen

The city of Malmo, southern Sweden, witnessed a march on the occasion of the Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as Swedish police secured the event.
Swedish media outlets, followed by Shia Waves, reported that “the mourning procession was organized by Islamic associations in the city of Malmö, as part of an annual tradition held since 2002.”
They added that “the march was attended by a group of Shia Muslims and non-Muslims as well, who came from several Swedish towns, as well as from Denmark, Norway and Britain.”
Roses, water and leaflets introducing the personality of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in various languages were distributed to the passersby.
