Activists organized a sit-in in front of the Saudi embassy in London, to denounce the repression and violations practiced by the Kingdom’s authorities and the war on Yemen.
The activists condemned the Saudi regime’s sudden execution of the young Adnan Sayed Mustafa al-Sharfa from Qatif, without informing his family, for his participation in the mass movement that the Eastern Province in support of the demand for rights and an end to the policies of exclusion and marginalization against the people of the region.
The protesters called on Saudi Arabia to withdraw its army from Bahrain and to stop its unjust military intervention in Yemen, which has been going on for more than six years.
It is reported that activists in London, led by the prominent Bahraini opponent, Dr. Saeed al-Shihabi, have organized sit-ins for several years, however they were temporarily stopped due to the Covid restrictions imposed by the British government.
