The Islamic world mourns the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Saeed al-Hakeem


The Islamic world and the lovers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, lost yesterday, the twenty-fifth of Muharram, the great religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Saeed al-Hakeem, due to a sudden cardiac arrest, leaving the hearts of many with a great wound.
The Islamic seminary and religious institutions in Iraq and the Islamic world are mourning the demise of the Grand Ayatollah, who was known for his defense of doctrine of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and the holy Husseini rituals, as he used to say, “The doctrine of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, is protected by the Almighty so don’t be afraid.”
Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Saeed al-Hakeem is the son of Muhammad Ali ibn Ahmed ibn Mohsen al-Tabatabai al-Hakeem (1934-2021), born in the holy city of Najaf, and is considered one of the leading religious authorities.
