The Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development in Karbala celebrated 60 young men and women who won the draw for the third stage of the House of Affection Project to Marry the Youth of Iraq.
Sheikh Abdul-Redha Maash said in an interview with Shia Waves, “The Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has succeeded in paving the way for 60 young men and women from 12 Iraqi provinces to experience the most important practice – marriage – through its House of Affection Project to Marry the Youth of Iraq,” stressing the importance of preparing the newlyweds through educational and religious courses held in the city.
The Foundation organized, for the male and female winners of the third stage of this humanitarian project, courses conducted by a group of specialists in the field of medicine and human development for the newlyweds to be ready physically, psychologically and socially.
The first and second stages of the project witnessed the marriage of dozens of young men and women from various Iraqi provinces.
It is noteworthy that the House of Affection Project was launched under the auspices of the Office of the Grand Ayatollah Ayatollah Sadiq Shirazi and is the largest project to help young Iraqis to marry from different sects and religions and to end the phenomenon of celibacy.
