Wide participation in mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in Mali
The hall of the Cultural Palace in the Malian capital, Bamako, witnessed the attendance of thousands of believers in the mourning ceremonies to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in response to the call of the Hizb al-Rahman Foundation for Religious Preaching in the Republic of Mali, which is headed by Sayyed Muhammad Biyaya Haidara.
Shia believers, as well as many Muslims keen to know the truth of Ashura, attended from all regions and provinces, while black banners of sadness were hung for the painful tragedy.
Sayyed Shwala recalled the painful events that Imam Hussein and his pure family, peace be upon them, experienced during the al-Taff incident, referring to all the events that led him to Karbala.
The attendees were greatly affected by the painful story of Karbala and this was the first time that the Ashura ceremony was held in a large hall in the Malian capital.
