Sadness on the day of Ashura hangs over the house of the Shirazi religious authority in Qom

A waves of sadness hung over the house of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom on the day of Ashura.
Mourning ceremonies were held to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain ibn Ali, his pure family and faithful companions, peace be upon them all, in order to preserve the religion of the Almighty on the day of great calamity that befell all the universe in the bloody incident of Karbala.
Scholars, seminary professors, and a large crowd of believers attended and participated in the ceremonies, and listened to lectures about the misfortunes of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the painful and bloody incident of al-Taff.
The ceremonies concluded with the recitation of honorable supplications to hasten the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi, peace be upon him.
It is worth noting that these mourning ceremonies continue until the thirteenth day of the sacred month of Muharram.
