Karbala hosts the Fifth International Islamic Art Exhibition



Al-Bidour al-Munawara Foundation for Relief and Development, in cooperation with the Media Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, held the Fifth International Islamic Art Exhibition on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir in Bein al-Haramein, Karbala.
The head of the Foundation, Sheikh Mahdi al-Hamdani, said in a statement, “The Ahlulbayt Youth Group for Art, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, held the Fifth International Exhibition on Eid al-Ghadir, with the participation of more than 90 artistic paintings representing six countries.”
For his part, the head of the Media Department at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Sayyed Aqil al-Sharifi, said that the exhibition included participations from Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran, in addition to the host country Iraq.
He indicated that the Holy Shrine allocated special prizes to the participants, in addition to the prizes given by the al-Bidour al-Munawara Foundation for Relief and Development.
