The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Hamid Al Ghazi called on the council to prepare a plan of action for the projects in 2020, and stabilize the budget of Samarra, calling to pay attention to the antiquities of Samarra such as the Holy Shrine of al-Askarayain and the Malwiya, stressing that the development of these sites contributes to the revival of tourism in the future.

For his part, the head of the Preparatory Committee Musa Hamishi called to facilitate the procedures of the Samarra law to become the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization in 2020.
