Karbala: Workshop on rights and duties of the child in state and society

The Karbala Office of the High Commission for Human Rights, in cooperation with the Iraqi Child Parliament and Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, which operates under the supervision of the Office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, held a workshop entitled “The Rights and Duties of the Child in the State and Society”.
The workshop was held in the hall of the Dar al-Warith building to house the homeless under the slogan, ‘My Rights and Duties in Society’, where all the attendees were orphans and foster children.
In the workshop, the Misbah al-Hussein Foundation presented a simple explanation for children about the role of non-governmental organizations in protecting human rights and children, as well as about the Charter for the Protection of Iraq’s Orphans.
