The city of Jaguri, one of the most important Shia cities in the Afghan province of Ghazni, was subjected to a massive attack by the terrorist Taliban movement.
Press sources quoted the Popular Resistance Forces saying that the defenders, in cooperation with the security forces, managed to repel the attack, surround the attackers and inflict heavy losses on them.
An official in the Popular Resistance Forces confirmed that the Taliban suffered heavy losses and material damage.
The Taliban admitted the failure of its attack on the city of Jaguri, adding that it had mobilized a thousand fighters from the Red Brigade to invade Jaguri.
In response to the Taliban’s statement, the Popular Resistance Forces official said that the Taliban’s statements fall within psychological warfare and will not be able to defeat the resisting defenders.
