The Supreme Council of Muslims in Germany, along with a number of civil institutions affiliated with the “Alliance Against Hate”, called on all sectors of German society to intensively participate in the activities of the National Week to confront the phenomenon of Muslim hostility in Germany.
This week’s activities, which are organized this year under the slogan “There is no place for hate”, began on Thursday and end on July 1 in memory of the martyrdom of Marwa al-Sherbiny, who was killed in early July 2009.
For the first time, the Alliance Against Hate Foundation will document these racist attacks in a unified manner at the federal level, and make them accessible to all through a new digital portal. Victims and witnesses can now report anti-Muslim attacks online.
The Alliance Against Hate is currently comprised of 47 institutions that form a broad social alliance against hostility to Islam and anti-Muslim racism.
