During 95 years, Imam Redha Holy Shrine publishes thousands of valuable books, sciences and Islamic knowledge
The Department of Studies and Researches in the Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Imam Redha Holy Shrine confirmed the publication of a very large collection of books during the past 95 years, as the Shrine was one of the most important centers of deepening authentic Islamic knowledge during the last period.
The department stated that it has issued about 15,000 titles across nearly 70 million copies during the past 95 years, noting that the Holy Shrine’s activity in this field began in 1887 with the issuance of 3 archive volumes of handwritten copies in the central library. The department drew attention to the qualitative leap achieved by the Holy Shrine of Imam Redha with regard to the dissemination of Islamic sciences and knowledge and the issuance of valuable books, stressing that the Holy Shrine today owns 9 publishing institutions and two printing centers.
The Imam Redha Holy Shrine is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions active in the field of printing and publishing in Iran.
