45 al-Qaeda terrorists killed and wounded in Ma’rib, Yemen


Forty-five members of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization were killed and wounded in a controlled ambush west of the Yemeni city of Marib.
Local sources in the city of Marib told the Yemeni Press Agency, that the Yemeni army forces set up a tight ambush targeting members of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization, west of the city of Marib.
The sources pointed out that al-Qaeda militants were subjected to artillery shelling by the Yemeni army forces while they were establishing a new military outpost for them west of the city of Marib.
According to the sources, the Sana’a forces stationed in Jabal al-Mashjah bombed the site with artillery shells two days after the organization’s elements established the site as a new defensive line for the city of Marib, killing 15 people and wounding 30 others from the terrorist organization.
