Believers commemorate the night of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in Najaf

Ahlulbayt lovers commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, at his holy shrine in the holy city of Najaf and Kufa.
The holy city was filled with black banners expressing the magnitude of this painful calamity on the hearts of the believers.
Hands raised and voices prayed on this blessed night, as tears of grief were shed for the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him.
For its part, the security agencies have taken strict measures to secure the visit, while the local government has confirmed that it is working to implement all preventive measures related to the Coronavirus, in addition to the rest of the directives issued by the National Health and Safety Committee.
Eight provinces have announced Tuesday as a holiday, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.
