Supreme Religious Authority provides relief to the underprivileged, 500 food baskets distributed to families in Mazar-i-Sharif
The charitable and humanitarian organizations affiliated with the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in Afghanistan, continued to distribute charitable aid and extend a helping hand to the underprivileged families in the country.
In the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, the Shirazi Religious Authority office, in cooperation with the Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development and the British IHDRF organization, distributed nearly 500 food baskets for underprivileged families and orphans, in honor of the blessed days of the great month of Ramadan.
The organizers of the initiative said, “This initiative stems from the commandments of the Shirazi Religious Authority, to contribute to helping the poor and families of orphans, and to extend a helping hand to them, especially in such great days of Ramadan.”
They added that “the aid included distributing 500 food baskets to Ahlulbayt followers in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.”
