In conjunction with the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein, wide preparations around the world to launch ‘The Imam of Life Campaign for Blood Donation’

Many countries around the world are witnessing intense preparations to launch ‘The Imam of Life Campaign for Blood Donation’, in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
According to those in charge of the campaign, the countries of Iraq, Saudi Arabia (Al-Qatif), Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, USA and other countries have completed preparations for launching the campaign.
The campaign aims to support and relief hospitalized patients and those in need of blood.
According to the organizers, the past year as well as this year, the campaign witnessed a number of preventive and health measures being taken due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
It is noteworthy that ‘The Imam of Life Campaign for Blood Donation’ was launched in 2012 and it is a voluntary campaign, which is being held in a number of Islamic and non-Islamic countries on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, based on the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi on marking the blessed occasion as a day of giving and humanity.
