United Nations: Yemen needs $4 billion to avoid famine

Mark Lowcock, the humanitarian and emergency relief coordinator at the UN, has called for raising about four billion dollars in 2021 to fund humanitarian operations in Yemen.
The UN official said that Yemen is rapidly heading towards the worst famine the world has seen in decades.
For the sixth year, Yemen is witnessing a violent aggression led by Saudi Arabia, in which the UAE is participating under the pretext of restoring the legitimate government.
