Granting lands for the Shia endowment in Syria to establish centers and Husseiniyahs


Syrian media outlets said that the Shia Endowments Directorate in Deir Ezzor province has granted the Shia Endowment new lands to establish mosques and religious and cultural centers.
The sources said in reports, followed by Shiawaves, “The director of Deir Ezzor Endowments, Mukhtar al-Naqshbandi, received a delegation from the Syrian Shia Endowment, and granted it with several lands belonging to the directorate in Deir Ezzor, Mayadin and Albu Kamal to convert it into Husseiniyat, religious and cultural centers.”
Media outlets also indicated that “the Shia Endowment Directorate built a number of Husseiniyahs and is working to restore a number of religious shrines to spread the Shia sect among Syrians.”
