India reopens places of worship despite Coronavirus

Mosques, churches and temples in India have opened their doors to worshipers, after the government lifted restrictions on public areas despite the registration of a record number of cases of Covid-19 infections within one day.
The government allowed the opening of shopping malls, places of worship and restaurants, while adhering to a set of guidelines aimed at preventing another wave of cases of the disease in the second largest country in the world by population.
The worshipers put on masks and committed themselves to standing about two meters between each worshiper and another, and they were also subjected to temperature measurements in temples, mosques and churches.
