Iraqi security forces arrests five ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, on Thursday, the arrest of a network of ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk, north of Baghdad.
In a statement, the ministry said, “In implementation of the directives of the Minister of the Interior and the Undersecretary for Police Affairs, Lieutenant-General Imad Muhammad Mahmoud, a terrorist network consisting of five ISIS terrorists belonging to the so-called Tigris State of ISIS.”
It added that “the operation was carried out based on information from the Directorate of Military Intelligence and Security,” noting that “one of the terrorists was a transporter of military materials, food, and electronic equipment, and the other was providing terrorists with information about the movement of security forces.”
