Najaf discusses security plan for the special pilgrimage on martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad

A meeting was held in Najaf to discuss the security plan for the upcoming pilgrimage on the martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny.
The media office of the Governor, Louay Al-Yasiri, said that a meeting was held in presence of the Interior Minister in regards to the security plan for the upcoming pilgrimage of Imam Ali Holy Shrine on the martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, and a number of important decisions and directives were taken.
The meeting was also attended by the Najaf Police Commander Major General Faik Al-Fatlawi, Commander of the Imam Ali Combat Division, Sheikh Taher Al-Khaqani, Commander of Middle Euphrates Operations, Major General Ali Al-Hashemi, and a number of officers and commanders of the security services in Najaf.
