Bahrainis commemorate Arbaeen amid precautionary measures and despite the repression

Bahrainis have commemorated the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, amid precautionary measures and social distancing despite attempts by the authorities to prevent them.
Despite government forces deployed in many areas to prevent mourners from reviving the occasion, mourners participated in processions in the towns of Karzakan, Al Musalla, Sanabis, Abu Saiba, Shakhoura and others.
In particular, Muharraq Island witnessed a provocative deployment of forces to prevent mourners from commemorating Arbaeen, in continuation of the systematic campaign of terror against Shias.
This comes at a time when the Bahraini system allowed the fans of Al Hidd Sports Club to gather to celebrate their victory of the Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa League.
