Seminar in Holy Najaf explores “Islamic Ethics Between Expression and Interpretation”

The Imam Shirazi World Foundation, in collaboration with professors from the University of Najaf, held a scholarly seminar at the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi in Holy Najaf. Titled “Islamic Ethics Between Expression and Interpretation,” the event gathered religious scholars and seminary students to discuss key concepts in Islamic morality.

The seminar opened with a speech by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Taqi Al-Thakari, head of the Najaf office, who explored the relationship between religious rulings and moral principles. He emphasized the term “Guidance Evidence” and its role within Islamic jurisprudence.

Sheikh Al-Thakari urged religious students to be sources of guidance, not merely instructors, highlighting the duty of preaching as a divine obligation, stressing the importance of deep religious understanding and effective communication in shaping a faith-driven society.
