Freemuslim Association calls for immediate halt to India-Pakistan conflict, warns of catastrophic consequences

The Freemuslim Association, a global nonviolence organization, has expressed deep regret over the escalating crisis between India and Pakistan, warning that the two nations appear to be sliding toward war. The organization called for urgent international intervention to de-escalate tensions and prioritize dialogue over conflict.
In a statement released on Wednesday, viewed by Shia Waves Agency, the organization said it is monitoring “with deep pain” the outbreak of armed clashes between the two nuclear-armed nations, amid a noticeable absence of serious international efforts to promote peace and prevent disaster.
The statement emphasized that the continuation and intensification of the conflict could result in severe human, political, and security costs for both countries and the international community. It warned of the risk of the conflict expanding into a dangerous regional war.
Freemuslim urged the leaderships of India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint and immediately cease all military operations in order to protect civilian lives and safeguard the interests of both nations.
