Religious seminary students hold unified mourning march in Holy Karbala for Imam al-Sadiq’s martyrdom

Large crowds of religious seminary students in the holy city of Karbala on Wednesday participated in the annual unified mourning procession marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), known as the Master of Scholars and Leader of Jurists.
Organized by the Unified Mourning Procession Committee of the religious seminaries, the march began at the courtyard of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), passed through the area between the two holy shrines, and concluded at the sacred courtyard of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). A mourning gathering was held there, featuring recitations about the tragedy, and reflections on the virtues, knowledge, and struggle of Imam al-Sadiq.
The procession witnessed the participation of many scholars, clerics, and students, unfolding in an atmosphere of grief and reverence. The event underscored the deep spiritual connection believers hold with Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) and reaffirmed their commitment to follow his intellectual and faith-driven legacy.
