190 Iraqi families leave Al-Hol camp in Syria ahead of Eid al-Fitr

Al-Hol camp in northeastern Syria is witnessing a new transfer of Iraqi families back to their home country ahead of Eid al-Fitr. According to Syrian sources, logistical preparations have been completed to facilitate the return of dozens of Iraqi families in coordination with the Iraqi government to ensure their safe repatriation.
The sources stated that 190 families, comprising over 700 individuals, will leave the camp after completing official exit procedures based on agreed-upon lists and protocols.
On Friday, more than 15 Iraqi buses entered Syria’s Hasakah province via the Al-Waleed crossing in Al-Yarubiyah to transport the families under tight security measures.
This marks the seventh Iraqi repatriation from Al-Hol camp this year and the 24th overall since coordination began between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Iraqi government, with support from the international coalition to ensure an organized and secure return for Iraqi citizens.
