Campaign launched to advocate for Afghan girls’ education

The Afghan Women Leaders Forum has launched a campaign advocating for girls’ education in Afghanistan, urging parents and the international community to take action.
In a statement on Saturday, the Forum said the initiative will run from March 8 to December 10, 2025, aligning with International Women’s Day and Human Rights Day. The campaign, supported by human rights activists, encourages parents to voice their support for their daughters’ right to education.
Using the hashtag “Education is Our Daughters’ Right,” it aims to raise global awareness about Afghan girls being barred from schooling beyond sixth grade since 2021. The Forum also called on the international community to support Afghan women’s voices and advocate for education as a fundamental right.
