An Israeli airstrike killed at least 70 people in Gaza over the past 24 hours, local news reports said. The strike hit a tent camp in Al-Mawasi, a designated humanitarian zone. Nine displaced civilians also died in the attack, according to Gaza authorities.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 45,581 Palestinians and wounded 108,438 since October 7, 2023. Conservative figures show that more than 6,000 women and 11,000 children were killed in Gaza by the Israeli military over the last 12 months.
