Albanian mosque hosts “Fruits of Faith” seminar to promote religious awareness

The central mosque in the city of Koplik, in northwestern Albania, hosted a seminar titled “Fruits of Faith”, which was attended by dozens of Muslims from the city and neighboring areas, along with several imams and students.

Dr. Ergul Haxhiu, Director of the Department of Islamic Preaching and Islamic Mission at the Albanian Muslim Community, emphasized the importance of perfecting acts of worship, referencing the Prophet Muhammad’s saying: “When you stand for prayer, pray as if it is your last prayer”, urging attendees to focus on the quality and spiritual impact of their worship.

He delivered inspirational messages, particularly to the youth, stressing the importance of participating in educational and religious activities to strengthen Islamic identity.

This seminar is part of the Albanian Muslim Community’s efforts to deepen religious awareness. It coincides with the announcement by the Islamic Studies Institute of the community regarding the launch of the new season of the Basic Islamic Knowledge Program for 2024–2025, which will include 35 students from various Albanian cities.
